Well, here we are, one year after starting the Photo Morsels blog.
As I compose this post, I found myself wondering how many blogs fall away after an initial spurt of enthusiasm? I’m sure the WordPress people have some data on that. I suspect it’s not something they choose to share as we don’t want to put the next prospective blogger off, do we? At Photo Morsels, just under forty posts have been published over the first year, and the plan is to continue on into the coming year.
Looking back at what has been published to date, posts about ships, planes and trains seem to have been rather more prolific that I had anticipated. A reflection, I think, of a recent interest in things historical. Looking at the backlog of photos that could form the basis of future posts, the well of trains and cars images hasn’t yet dried up, but I will also look to broaden the mix over the coming year.
Anniversaries tend to spawn reflective moments, so I’ve looked back over the first year of posts to identify some favourites from the many images published to date, and have drawn them together in the photo gallery below.

Thanks for stopping by. All of these photos can be found in the first year’s posts. If encouraged to explore a little further, a variety of search options can be found by using the Posts/All Posts menu item at the top of any page.
Congrads on your first year! As I’m learning too, it’s hard to keep that initial passion going on a blog.
